Given the fact that we spend most of our day at work, we can't ignore the potential impact of this domain on our mental wellness. I'm an occupational therapist interested in the factors that contribute to mentally healthy workplaces and in keeping employees and employers in the loop about workplace mental health through the blogosphere.

Hello! I recently graduated from York University with a B.Sc  in Kinesiology and Health Science. I am now completing my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. As an OT student, I am passionate about mental health  awareness and reducing stigma  around  mental illness especially in the workplace. Just as we are try to take care of our physical health, it is important to take care  of our mental health.

I am a passionate advocate for anti-stigma campaigns, focusing on the creation of mentally healthy, productive workplaces. In my capacity as an L&L Consulting Blogger, I strive to address topics such as workplace productivity, presenteeism, absenteeism, and turnover through raising awareness about workplace mental health. From my social, academic, and athletic experiences as an elite synchronized swimmer, I believe that a healthy mind-body connection is the key to success and happiness in all aspects of life. Presently, I am completing my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Toronto.

Ramya B.

I am a student occupational therapist from McMaster University with a strong personal and professional interest in mental health. I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health to a full and meaningful life. Seeing the impact of stigma and the lack of awareness for mental health issues in everyday spaces, including the workplace, drives me to write for the L&L Consulting blog. I hope to share information and bring to light different perspectives in order to foster mental health and well-being in the corporate world.
